This project develops imagination and motor skills. It's simple and is suitable for children as young as 3 years old.

Materials:

1. A sheet of dark colored construction paper precut into 2-3 wide strips.
2. A sheet of green paper.
3. Liquid glue.
4. Crayons or markers (optional).
5. Yellow cutout circle and a piece of paper (optional).

Ask the child to tear strips of dark-colored paper into quite large pieces.

Then show him how to form these pieces of paper into balls (children like messing around with paper).
