Holiday Handprint Wreath.

  Toddler-Net on Facebook
This simple holiday wreath is made from colored hand prints and it looks very attractive. But it is not simply decorative; it will always keep memory of these cute little hands, which are growing so fast. A few children at once can participate in this project.
The project helps developing basic tracing, cutting, and painting skills. For children 4-5 years of age.

Materials:

1. White paper plate
2. A few sheets of white (or colored) paper
3. Scissors
4. Glue
5. Markers or pencils
6. Brush
7. Green water-based paint
8. Ribbon or other decorations (optional)

Cut out a bottom of a paper plate yourself (it can be difficult for a little child). You need just the edge. Ask your children to trace their palms with a marker or a pencil on to a sheet of white paper.
(Alternatively, pour a small amount of green paint into a paper plate or tray and ask your child to make several hand prints on a sheet of white paper).
