This project contributes to developing children's motor skills and cognitive abilities such as planning their work. It also develops creativity and imagination and shows how to combine different materials in one artwork.
Materials:
1. Playdough
2. Pinecone
3. A couple of dry sticks (for making hands)
4. A couple of pepper corns for eyes
Make a playdough ball and attach it to the top of a pine cone. Make feet by cutting a second playdough ball in half and attaching the halves to the pine cone. Make black eyes using pepper corns. Attach two sticks to the sides of the pine cone with small pieces of playdough to make hands. We used a small pebble for the nose and a piece of pink playdough for the mouth. You can use small twigs or dry grass to make hair.
