This project, like any project which involves tearing specific shapes out of paper, helps in developing a child's motor skills. It's also very simple and is suitable for children as young as 3 years old.
Materials:
1. 1 sheet of blue construction paper.
2. 1 sheet of yellow construction paper
3. Yellow circle cutout.
4. Glue stick
Place a cutout circle on a piece of blue paper. |

Ask your child if it reminds him of something. There are two likely answers: the sun and the moon. If the answer is the sun, suggest adding some sunrays to it. If the answer is the moon, ask how can we make it look like a sun? |
