Pop Out Flower Card
Mother's Day card. Pop out flower.
Bend a sheet of white or colored paper in the middle. A child can draw a stem with a crayon or marker. Cut out the center of the flower and petals. Bend the petals in the middle. Glue only one half of each petal to another sheet of paper in a circle.

For Mother's or Father's Day. A Family Book.
Glue together a couple sheets of paper, and fold them into a book. Ask your child to draw pictures of family members on each page
.
A Family Book

A Flower for Mom.
Show your child some real flowers and some pictures. Talk about the endless variety of shapes and colors. Ask a child to paint or draw a flower on white or colored paper. If it's going to be a gift for his Mom put some glitter on it later.

Paper cup "flowers".
You can make a nice card using cupcake paper cups. Your child can color the cup with crayons, colored pencils, or markers, glue it to a card, and then draw a stem and a few leaves. To make it more interesting you can suggest that your child cut the sides of one cup and glue it into another or glue some other decorations into its center (there are many different possibilities).
