Toddler-Net on Facebook
This project teaches basic painting skills. It will improve your child's artistic skills and abilities. For kids 4-5 and older. It is essential to demonstrate and explain each step of this project.

Materials:
1. A sheet of thick paper
2. A couple of brushes
3. A set of acrylic or, preferably, tempera paints
4. A jar of water for washing brushes

First let your child paint a background: blue sky and brown ground. Allow painting to dry for a few minutes.

While the backgound is drying talk to your child about which trees loose leaves and which stay green in winter.

Next ask your child to paint a few trees right over the backgound. Let the painting dry.
