Easter Play-Doh or Clay Project for Children: Yellow Chicken

This project develops imagination and motor skills. It's simple and is suitable for children 3-4 years old.

Materials:

1. Play-Doh or homemade play dough
2. A couple of dry sticks or toothpicks (for legs)
4. A couple of pepper corns for eyes

Let a child make 2 yellow play-dough balls (one smaller than the other). Put them together. Make a beak from a small piece of red play-dough and use pepper corns for the eyes.

Ask your child to make another ply dough ball and flatten it against the surface of a table. This is the pedestal. Chicken can be mounted on this pedestal using two sticks or toothpicks.
