Kids Halloween Craft - BookAlthough this project is rather simple but it is fun to make and children like it. Cutting with scissors promotes motor development and drawing about a specific theme helps to develop an associative thinking. It is suitable for children 4-7 years old. For younger kids you can try our project "Halloween coloring book". Materials:
Print out first print-out (below). Suggest to your child to color it in orange to make it look like a pumpkin. This will be the cover of the book. The print-out can also be traced onto the orange construction paper and this will be the cover. In our project we chose this option. |

| The second print out (below) will serve as the pages of the book. (You can make as many pages as you like: for all you children to make "you family Book of Halloween" or "your class Book of Halloween"). | |||||||||||

| Cut out pumpkin shapes from both print-outs yourself as shown below or let your child do it depending on the child's age. | |||||||||||

| An adult has to staple the cover and the pages together. Then suggest to a child to draw his/her favorite Halloween characters or what he/she likes about this holiday. You or your child can write his/her name and/or a title "My book of Halloween" on the cover as shown. | |||||||||||
