Paper Ornament - Christmas tree.

This project will benefit children's motor skills and creativity (choosing colors, arranging shapes) and improve gluing skills. Remember to demonstrate and explain each step of the project.
Materials:
1. 1 sheet of construction paper in the color of your choice
2. A piece of string or thread
3. Glitter glue
4. Liquid glue or a glue stick
Fold half of a sheet of construction paper "accordion" style. Cut out half of a Christmas tree shape as shown.

Unfold the cutout and glue the neighboring sides of the tree together. Then glue the last sides to each other. While gluing, put two ends of a string inside the tree for hanging the ornament. After the toy dries, decorate it with glitter glue. |
