Kids Easter Art Project - Little Chicken Painting

This project develops imagination and motor skills. It's simple and is suitable for children 4-5 years old.

Materials:
1. A sheet of thick dark green paper (you can use white paper and paint it green in advance)
2. A couple of brushes
3. A set of watercolor or tempera paints
4. A jar of water for washing brushes

Ask your child to paint two circles of different sizes using yellow paint as shown below. Then add a little tail.

Show your child how two circles of different sizes can be transformed into a chicken by adding a red beak and a couple of thin legs. For smaller kids it can be easier to draw legs using crayons.
