Spaceships

Bookmark and Share
This project benefits creativity and improves gluing skills. It also helps in developing motor skills.
For children 3-4 years old.

Materials:
1. A spaceship printout
2. Scissors
3. Glue
4. A sheet of dark blue or blue construction paper
5. A few pieces of foil, yellow and red construction paper
6. Markers or crayons (optional)
Cut out the space ships. Talk with your child about space, stars, rockets etc. Ask the child to arrange the spaceships on the sheet of blue paper and help him/her glue them to the paper. Show the child how to make “stars” by tearing small pieces of yellow paper and foil. Show him how to make “flames” out of a few torn pieces of red paper (optional). If you used a printout with blank spaceship shapes, ask the child to color them as he/she wishes.
