Gymnastics
Preschool programs in gymnastics enhance childrens motor skills and teach them balance, coordination, flexibility, strength and some gymnastics skills.
Gymnastics is a great sport. But its definitely not easy for toddlers. Entry-level gymnastics programs for the developing gymnast usually enroll children starting at age 6. Gymnastics at the age of 2-4 is mostly made up of jumping and tumbling, which can also be accomplished during a trip to a playground or a park. However, playing at the outdoor playground is not always the best option during the hot Tucson summers. That is when a gym class can be a great alternative. Plus, most gyms offer such programs as Open Gym and Parents Night Out. During Open Gym hours kids with parents may come to a gym for a fun playtime together for a small fee.
Almost every gym in Tucson offers gymnastics lessons for kids. There are many different choices for all parts of the city.
